- The Veterans Corporation (TVC) – The National Veterans Business Development Corporation is a non-profit organization created by the Veterans Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development Act of 1999 doing business as The Veterans Corporation. TVC's creates and enhances entrepreneurial opportunities for Veterans by providing resources and tools for business success.
- U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) – The SBA's Office of Veteran Business Development fosters enhanced entrepreneurial opportunities for small businesses owned or controlled by eligible veterans, especially in purchases made by the federal government for services or products. - VA Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization – Information on doing business with the VA and federal government along with business contacts and resources.
- VetBiz.gov – is the federal VA website for veterans in business also known as the Center for Veterans Enterprise. Search for or register veteran-owned businesses or assistance programs. Find information and resources for starting, managing, and marketing your business. Discover mentoring, conference, and procurement information along with news and financing and funding resources for veteran entrepeneurs.
- Wisconsin Department of Commerce – offers information on entrepreneurial programs, loans and grants. The Wisconsin Business Wizard, located at the Commerce Business website, provides information on the different types of licenses you may need when starting a business and certification of a veteran-owned business for state government contracting.
- Wisconsin Entrepreneurs’ Network (WEN) – provides integrated statewide support to entrepreneurs in all industries and developmental stages. Contact one of WEN’s 50 access points for assistance. - Wisconsin Procurement Institute (WPI) – is a nonprofit organization established in 1987 to "bridge the gap" for Wisconsin companies interested in contracting or subcontracted opportunities to provide products or services to federal, state, and local government agencies.
- Wisconsin Small Business Development Center (SBDC) – offers a variety of educational services to small-business clients along the entire business development spectrum -- pre-venture, start-up, established and high-growth. Low-cost courses, seminars and workshops cover both basic and complex topics, from marketing to management techniques to business plan development.
- Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative – learn about an economic development corporation that provides quality business education, technical assistance and access to capital for small businesses throughout Wisconsin.
