Carillon Tower

The AMVETS Memorial Carillon was dedicated June 10, 2001.  The Carillon serves as a living memorial to America’s veterans who served their country honorably for the cause of freedom “…As these bells ring…honored dead rest…freedom lives….”

Notable Burials

First Interment

Bernard P. Mianecki - SGT, U.S. Marine Corps, WWII

The first burial at the NWVMC was Bernard P. Mianecki, SGT U.S. Marine Corps, WWII Veteran. SGT Mianecki was buried November 10, 2000 – the 225th anniversary of the U.S. Marine Corps.
