(MADISON) – The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA) will co-host two outreach events later this month in La Crosse. A campus Veterans’ Benefits Open House will be held on the Western Technical College, La Crosse campus, in the Kumm Building, 400 6th Street North on Tuesday, September 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A second Veterans’ Benefits Open House is scheduled for the UW – La Crosse campus on Wednesday, September 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; it will take place in the Cartwright Center, 1725 State Street, La Crosse.

The events will provide information and assistance regarding federal and state veterans’ benefits, programs and services, and a special emphasis on education benefits, including the new federal Post-9/11 GI Bill and the Wisconsin GI Bill.
