(MADISON) – The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA) and the Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) will co-host an outreach event, a Veterans’ Benefits Campus Open House, on the MATC Campus on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The location at MATC’s downtown campus is the Student Center, 700 W. The event will provide information and assistance regarding federal and state veterans’ benefits, programs and services, and a special emphasis on education benefits, including the new federal Post-9/11 GI Bill and the Wisconsin GI Bill.
