December meeting of the Wisconsin Board of Veterans Affairs cancelled
To be rescheduled in January due to weather conditions

(MADISON) – The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs announced yesterday that the December 10-11, 2009 meeting of the Wisconsin Board of Veterans Affairs, scheduled to be held at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in Union Grove, has been cancelled, due to difficult travel and other conditions from yesterday’s snowfall.

The Board Chair Marv Freedman and department Secretary Ken Black made the decision jointly yesterday to cancel the meeting, which will be rescheduled for some time in January. A public notice will announce the new dates of the meeting and will be posted on the department website under www.WisVets.com/BoardMeetings.

The Wisconsin Board of Veterans Affairs oversees the operations of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs.
