Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs
"Making a difference in the lives of Wisconsin Veterans"
Veterans' Stakeholders Conference

www.WisVets.com/Stakeholders

Wisconsin as a leader in state benefits and services for veterans annually holds a Veterans' Stakeholders Conference to gather input and discuss current veterans needs and issues with veteran service organizations, county veterans service officers, legislators, and the veterans community. This input is invaluable in examining and determining the needs of our veterans, evaluating existing programs and services, and reviewing our goals for accomplishing our mission of providing the most beneficial assistance and service we can to our state veterans.

Read a bulleted summary of the breakout sessions.

The WDVA Annual Veterans' Awards are also presented during this conference. These awards recognize Wisconsin veterans and citizens who have provided exceptional service for Wisconsin’s veterans in six categories. Recipients are chosen from nominations submitted with the form WDVA0140 and received by WDVA by February 15 following the award year.
